The JoyCoin Movement

What is the JoyCoin movement?

• It is a tongue-in-the-cheek and creative way to engage with the necessary development of the Global Challenge Campus. There are 3 projects – The Oakridge Classrooms, The Garden and the Multi-use extension of Global Leadership Academy (GLA).
• The movement is bigger than fundraising for new buildings or the planting of trees – it is about partnering with the different areas of Global Challenge; to develop spaces where people will be discipled, future leaders will be shaped and where we can see God’s creation restored.

What is a JoyCoin?

• The Joy is in joining the movement by giving your Coin!
• You can ‘buy’ JoyCoins by donating any amount of Rand towards the project of your choice. For example, by ‘buying’ 100 JoyCoins you are in effect donating R100 to the building of Oakridge’s classrooms, the Garden or the Multi-use area.
• We will playfully convert your donation to JoyCoins.

Does JoyCoin have any value?

• The real (only) value of the JoyCoin is in the joy of joining the movement and seeing God move through what He is busy establishing.
